Hi, my name is Steve Gale, I am a fully qualified and insured Personal Trainer who specialises in providing personalised fitness programmes using the latest techniques in order to meet each of your requirements. I specialise in Weight Management, Nutrition, Kettlebell Instruction and Resistance training.

 

I have always been very active and have been involved in most sports at some point in my life but my true passion has always been football, which I played at a semi-professional level until injury put paid to my career.

It was at that time that I found myself in an I.T job working shifts and generally missing out on all the fun my friends were having. I eventually worked my way up the ladder and ended up as a software developer but my heart was never really in it and I found myself struggling to sit at a desk all day. I was a regular gym visitor when possible but I began to suffer from lower back pain when at work. This got so bad that I went for a scan and was told that I would need to have major back surgery to rectify the problem. This was a shock and I thought I would never be able to live a healthy lifestyle again but after employing a personal trainer to help me with my rehabilitation, I got the passion back for fitness.

I decided that I wanted to help people the same way that my personal trainer had helped me so I put my money where my mouth was and paid to study a Personal Training Diploma. This wasn’t without problems as I was still in full time work and had 2 young children to contend with as well, had to use my annual holiday, and study in the evenings, but I got through it and here I am.

I eventually took the plunge and have been running my Personal Training business full-time now for the last few years. I’m still working as hard as ever but just spending time doing something I enjoy has helped to make me more relaxed and healthier than I’ve been for a long time. This has all been achieved by putting the knowledge I’ve gained to good use by devising my own workouts and healthy eating plans, which is exactly what I will be doing for you too.

I take great satisfaction in helping people to make changes to their lifestyles to help improve their health and wellbeing.
